Katelyn has a tanning bed!  It's been modified with special blue bulbs.  She is able to spend time in the tanning bed to get intense light treatment.

The two foot bulbs above her bed have an intensity of 30.  The six foot bulbs in the tanning bed have an intensity of 150!  Katelyn tries to move every few minutes to keep from getting too hot.

   Most people would never expect a 3rd grader to have her own tanning bed, but this is no ordinary 3rd grader & no ordinary tanning bed!!!
