Welcome to the official web site for Katelyn & Zoe Bachman.  Katelyn and Zoe are the only Texans to suffer from a very rare condition called Crigler-Najjar Syndrome. They must sleep under special blue lights every night and get as much sunlight as possible during the day in order to survive.  Without daily light treatments the girls would suffer brain damage, muscle and nerve damage and ultimately death.

Because of their need for light we call them our "Little Sunflowers". Although we don't understand why we must face these trials, we know that God has a bright future for our children. We rejoice in the fact that He doesn't make mistakes!!!

Verses of Hope
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."
Jeremiah 29:11
